The occupation reveals its use of new intelligence capabilities during the last round in Gaza

The Hebrew website Ynet revealed, on Saturday, that the Israeli army used intelligence capabilities of warplanes and manned reconnaissance intelligence, during the latest round of fighting in the Gaza Strip.

According to a report on the Hebrew site, F35 warplanes flew over the Gaza Strip during the operation, and transmitted intelligence information about some targets to helicopters and other warplanes, as well as ground forces and others, to work on targeting them.

A senior Israeli officer said that special capabilities of these so-called "stealth" aircraft were used that had not been used before in distinct intelligence monitoring of some targets, a feature used mainly on the northern front and in areas very far from "Israel's borders." According to him.

The officer stated that the advanced detection and tracking techniques on these planes were used during the operation in Gaza, which allowed the closure of circles quickly, and this led to shortening the tour and destroying many targets.

According to the report, the stealth aircraft detected one of the missiles that was intercepted by the "David's Sling" system while it was flying in the sky of Gaza, the moment it was launched, determined its launch location, and immediately communicated with the air defense system, which prepared to shoot it down.

This system shot down two missiles, one of which was fired at Tel Aviv, and the other at the city of Jerusalem.

The officer said, "We used all the endless available tools we have, including manned intelligence aircraft. We wanted to shorten the attack time as much as possible and locate the enemy. Things that used to take us 20 or 30 minutes in recent years can now be determined in Much less than at that time."

He added, "We have greatly strengthened our grip on the area.. Literally, that area became under constant surveillance, and sometimes we were able to return video clips taken from cameras, and this enabled us to detect the missile launch sites and the places where the launch teams moved," indicating that this time it was a policy Targeting is clear, communication with the General Staff and issuance of orders are quick, not as it was in previous rounds.
