Reconstruction of Al Tahadi School 5 east of Bethlehem
Today, Monday, the "Challenge 5" school was rebuilt in Beit Tamar, east of Bethlehem, coinciding with the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Nakba.
According to local sources, in cooperation between the Wall and Settlement Resistance Committee, the Beit Tamar Village Council and the Education Directorate, the school, which was demolished three times, was rebuilt.
The sources pointed out that tents were erected on the rubble of the demolition, and wheelchairs were provided, in order to enhance the steadfastness of the parents and the survival of the students in their school, and to emphasize the continuation of the educational process as a clear challenge to the arrogance of the occupier.
It is noteworthy that the mixed school, which consists of grades one to four, includes 60 students. It was demolished three times, the first in 2017, and the second and third this year within one month. It was rebuilt with tents and demolished before being restored again.
