The head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, accepted an invitation to visit Tehran and meet with the Iranian leadership to discuss more details and current developments.

This came when he received a phone call from Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Abdullahian, during which they discussed political and field developments.

Haniyeh reviewed the crimes committed by the occupation in the West Bank and Jerusalem and the siege of Gaza, and the role of the resistance in repelling the occupation and its ability to impose its field equations, in what serves the interest of its people and its cause.

He also praised the activities that took place on Al-Quds Day, welcoming the stances that declared support for our people and their resistance, confirming that Al-Quds is an element of consensus for the nation and the compass for the free people in the world.

In turn, the Iranian Foreign Minister praised the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, expressing his pride in the Palestinian resistance, which hurts and disturbs the occupation.

The Iranian foreign minister stressed the centrality of the Jerusalem issue and the Islamic Republic's follow-up to the Israeli aggressions and practices taking place there.
