Abu Rudeineh: The Israeli government is looking for ways to detonate the situation

Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesman for the Palestinian Presidency, said today, Wednesday, that the extremist Israeli government is looking for ways to detonate the situation in the region, blaming it for the dangerous policies it leads that aim to destroy any regional or international effort made to provide stability and prevent the situation from deteriorating.

In a press statement, Abu Rudeineh indicated that extremist settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque and raised the occupation flag in its courtyards, and the occupation police repeatedly stormed Bab Al-Rahma chapel and sabotaged the electricity installations inside it.

Abu Rudeina said: The Israeli occupation authorities are dragging the region into the square of violence, escalation, tension and instability, through its insistence on continuing the policy of collective punishment, killing and attacks on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, in addition to stressing that our people will not allow the occupation authorities to harm or tamper with the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, even The repeated attacks on the Bab al-Rahma chapel in Al-Aqsa Mosque are playing with fire, as the chapel is an integral part of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

And he considered that the siege imposed on Palestinian cities, in addition to the continued storming of cities, villages and camps, is tantamount to collective punishment for our Palestinian people, stressing that this policy will not bring security and stability to anyone, but rather will push matters to further escalation and tension.

Abu Rudeineh called on the American administration to intervene immediately to stop these dangerous practices, and to put pressure on Israel to stop all its unilateral measures. To continue terrorizing settlers against our people with murder and theft, under the protection of the occupation army.
