Citizens celebrate Prisoner's Day in various West Bank governorates

Today, Monday, the citizens revived the activities of the Palestinian Prisoner's Day , in the various governorates of the West Bank .


Citizens gathered in the city centers in response to the call of the national and Islamic forces and the institutions and activities of the prisoners, with the participation of the families of the prisoners and the freed prisoners, to commemorate this memory, then marches were launched that roamed the streets of the main cities.


The participants raised Palestinian flags, pictures of the prisoners, and banners emphasizing the freedom of the prisoners, amid cheers for the prisoners and patriotic songs emphasizing their freedom and showing their suffering.


The deputy head of the Fatah movement, Mahmoud Al-Aloul , said in a speech during a stand in the city of Ramallah, "Every day is a day for the prisoner, but this day came to remind the world of the prisoners' suffering and sacrifices, which are never equaled. forget them.”


Al-Aloul recalled the prisoners, their leaders, child prisoners, female prisoners , and sick prisoners, and said: "We entrusted the prisoners to keep working for their war and the freedom of our people in full and undiminished."


Al-Aloul stressed that the prisoners, with their unity, thwarted the policies of the Israeli occupation government, headed by Itamar Ben Gvir , which targets the prisoners with racist procedures and laws.


Yesterday evening, Sunday, the forces and events lit the flame of freedom in front of the square of the Baladna Cultural Center in the city of Al-Bireh.


Marches and events took place this afternoon, at Al-Manara Circle in Ramallah, at Ibn Rushd Circle in the center of Hebron, and in Martyr Yasser Arafat Square in front of Jenin Governorate, while an event was organized in front of the Red Cross office in Jericho, and another in front of Martyr Abu Ali Iyad Square in The city of Qalqilya, in addition to an activity at Bidya High School for Boys in Salfit.


Other activities will be held this evening, in front of Gamal Abdel Nasser Square in the center of Tulkarm, in the Bab Al-Zaqaq area in the center of Bethlehem, in front of the Martyrs' Square in the city of Nablus, and in front of the Martyrs' Circle in Tubas.
