Arab and international condemnations of the occupation's aggression against Al-Aqsa
Arab countries condemned the Israeli forces' storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan.
This came according to official statements, today, Wednesday, in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey and Qatar.
The State of Qatar condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli occupation forces’ storming and vandalism of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque , assaulting worshipers there, preventing ambulances from reaching the injured, evacuating the worshipers in the Al-Qibli prayer hall, imposing restrictions on the mosque’s gates and preventing Palestinians from entering.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered these brutal criminal practices a serious escalation and blatant encroachment on the holy places, an extension of the policy of Judaizing Jerusalem, a violation of international law and international legitimacy resolutions, and a provocation of the feelings of more than two billion Muslims in the world, especially in the blessed month of Ramadan.
The ministry reminded that Jerusalem is an occupied city according to international law, and therefore the responsibility for caring for the worshipers' rights, which are guaranteed by all international and humanitarian covenants, not to mention the attack on them and the Islamic and Christian sanctities in the city, lies exclusively with the Israeli occupation forces. In this context, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned against introducing any changes to the historical and legal status of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Jerusalem and its sanctities, and held the occupation authorities alone responsible for the cycle of violence that will result from their systematic policies against the rights of the Palestinian people, and urged the international community to take urgent action to stop these measures.
The Ministry reaffirmed Qatar's firm position on the justice of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, including the full right to practice their religious rituals without restrictions, and to establish their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
And the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Kingdom is following with great concern the Israeli occupation forces’ storming of the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, assaulting worshipers, and arresting a number of citizens.
And the Saudi Foreign Ministry added, in a press statement at dawn today, Wednesday, that the Kingdom condemns this blatant intrusion, to express its categorical rejection of these practices that undermine peace efforts and contradict international principles and norms in respect of religious sanctities, reaffirming its firm position in supporting all efforts aimed at ending the occupation. And to reach a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue.
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli army's storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the intervention in the Al-Qibli prayer hall, the arrest of many Palestinian civilians, and the violation of the sanctity of the Noble Sanctuary and the current historical situation last night.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry said, in a press statement, today, Wednesday, that "these attacks on worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan are not acceptable in any way."
It expressed its deep concern about the escalation that spread to the region, especially Gaza.
It called on the Israeli government to immediately stop all provocations, actions and attacks that might lead to a further escalation of tensions in the region.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry condemned in the strongest terms the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the accompanying blatant attacks that led to many injuries among worshipers and seclusions, including women, in violation of all international laws and norms.
In a statement, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry considered that such reprehensible and reprehensible scenes, and the repeated Israeli violations of the sanctity of the holy places, fuel the feelings of resentment and anger among all the Palestinian people, the Islamic peoples and people of living conscience all over the world.

The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ storming of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, its brutal attack on worshipers in its courtyards, and the arrest of a number of them.
In a statement issued today, Wednesday, the organization considered this dangerous escalation an assault on the sanctity of holy places and freedom of worship, and a flagrant violation of the Geneva Conventions and relevant United Nations resolutions.

In a statement issued today, Wednesday, Aboul Gheit stressed that these irresponsible behaviors in the holy places affect the religious feelings of millions of Muslims around the world.
He called on the international community to move quickly in order to push Israel to stop this dangerous escalation, which threatens to ignite the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
