Last night, the Israeli occupation authorities notified the demolition of seven graves under construction in the village of Al-Burj, southwest of Hebron .

Local sources stated that the Israeli occupation forces raided the village cemetery and ordered the demolition of seven under-construction graves belonging to the Al-Talhameh and Al-Faqih families, under the pretext of building in Area C.

The sources added that the cemetery is built on lands belonging to the Palestinian Ministry of Religious Endowments, and citizens have been using it for several years to bury their dead, which raised a state of fear among the people that the occupation forces would demolish and desecrate the cemetery.
