The Jordanian parliament votes to expel the Israeli ambassador

The Jordanian Parliament voted, on Wednesday, to approve a proposal to expel the Israeli ambassador, against the background of the racist statements and actions of the Israeli Minister of Finance, Bezalel Smotrich, towards Jordan and Palestine.

The Palestine Parliamentary Committee and a large number of deputies demanded the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador from Jordan, based on several proposals submitted in this regard.

Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al-Safadi said during the parliament session: "We in the House of Representatives call on the government to take effective and effective measures towards the occupation government's finance minister's use of a map of the so-called Israel that includes the borders of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the occupied Palestinian territories."
