The club explained that the doses of chemotherapy he had recently undergone were reduced, since his body could no longer bear it, as he came out of it worse and exhausted, pointing out that he had recently undergone a CT scan of the brain, and according to doctors, the result is after two weeks.
A court session will be held at the beginning of next August to consider the request for his early release due to his health condition, despite what previous experiences have proven that the “legal” path rarely led to the release of a sick prisoner who reached the state of health that the prisoner Abu Hamid reached, especially He is sentenced to life imprisonment.
The Captive Club said that all the data related to the case of the prisoner Abu Hamid, since it was discovered that he had cancer last year until now, confirms that the occupation prison administration is carrying out a crime against him that extended over the past years and insists on continuing to complete it, through a number of systematic tools that fall within the crime of negligence. Medical (slow killing), which led him to reach this dangerous stage, especially with his continued detention in "Ramla" prison.
The club stated that Abu Hamid is among 23 prisoners who suffer from cancer and tumors of various degrees, and they are among 600 sick prisoners, including 200 prisoners who face chronic diseases and need intensive health care and follow-up.
