Injuries and destruction of homes in Gaza.. The occupation continues to violate the truce and targets police stations

Medical and field sources reported today, Thursday, that five Palestinian citizens were injured as a result of shelling carried out by Israeli occupation forces on areas in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City. This targeting came in the context of continuous military operations affecting populated areas, leading to the transfer of the wounded to hospitals for treatment amidst difficult humanitarian conditions.

In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes that led to the complete destruction of three homes after prior warnings were issued to residents to evacuate them. The shelling caused severe damage to neighboring buildings and public property, increasing the suffering of displaced families and residents in those crowded areas.

Local sources confirmed that the raids targeted a home belonging to the Baraka family in Deir al-Balah, another belonging to the Nibrasi family in Al-Maghazi camp, in addition to a home belonging to the Matar family west of Nuseirat camp. A state of panic and terror prevailed among citizens after receiving calls from Israeli intelligence demanding them to evacuate entire residential blocks before the intense shelling began.

These field developments come amidst continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 10, 2025. Despite international pledges for calm, military operations have not stopped, threatening the collapse of fragile understandings sponsored by international and regional parties.

Regarding human casualties, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced the martyrdom of 13 Palestinians and the injury of 18 others during the past twenty-four hours. These figures reflect an escalation in the intensity of targeting civilians in various governorates of the Strip, despite a decrease in the intensity of direct confrontations in some axes.

In a separate incident, occupation aircraft targeted a police station in the Al-Faluja area of Jabalia camp in the northern Strip, resulting in a massacre that claimed the lives of eight martyrs. Among the victims were the director of the station, Colonel Muhammad Marwan Salem, along with a number of officers and individuals who were carrying out their duties in maintaining security and serving citizens.

For their part, Palestinian factions condemned the targeting of police stations, considering it a continuation of targeting the administrative and service infrastructure of the Palestinian people. These forces called on international mediators and the US administration to take a firm stance against the crimes of the Israeli government, which disregards all signed agreements.

Official data issued by the Ministry of Health indicate that the number of victims of Israeli violations since the signing of the last truce agreement has exceeded 1123 martyrs. More than 3600 citizens have also been injured with varying degrees of severity, placing the exhausted health system before enormous challenges in light of the shortage of medical supplies and essential medicines.

Considering the total toll since the outbreak of the war in October 2023, statistics have recorded the martyrdom of more than 73,000 Palestinians and the injury of more than 173,000 others. Gaza suffers from massive destruction affecting about 90% of the civilian infrastructure, including schools, hospitals, and water and electricity networks.

The situation in the Gaza Strip remains susceptible to further escalation in the absence of real guarantees obliging the occupation to stop its repeated aggressions. Residents appeal to the international community to intervene immediately to stop the bloodshed and ensure the flow of humanitarian aid and reconstruction amidst these catastrophic conditions experienced by more than two million people.

The occupation targeted a police station in the Al-Faluja area with an airstrike, leading to the martyrdom of the station director and a number of officers and individuals.
