Occupation Releases 12 Prisoners from Gaza via Kerem Shalom Crossing

Field sources reported the arrival of 12 Palestinian prisoners, released by the Israeli occupation authorities today, Wednesday, at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. The release operation took place via the Kerem Shalom crossing, where the prisoners were immediately transferred upon their arrival to receive medical examinations and necessary care due to the health conditions they suffered from inside the prisons.

The sources clarified that the transfer of the released prisoners was carried out with direct coordination and facilities provided by the International Committee of the Red Cross, which supervised their safe exit from the Israeli side to the central areas of the Strip, to ensure they received immediate healthcare upon their crossing.

For its part, the International Committee of the Red Cross issued a brief statement confirming the success of its teams in facilitating the release of the 12 detainees. The committee indicated that it worked to secure their exit route and direct them immediately to medical facilities in Deir al-Balah to follow up on their health conditions after varying periods of detention in Israeli prisons.

Our teams today facilitated the release of these twelve detainees from Israeli prisons, where their exit and medical accommodation were secured.
