In anticipation of any emergency.. Activating the Supreme Emergency Committee in Nablus and raising its readiness

Nablus - "Jerusalem" dot com - Emad Saadeh - The Higher Emergency Committee in Nablus Governorate announced that it has raised its readiness and kept in a permanent meeting, in anticipation of any emergency, and in order to provide all the elements of steadfastness and provide services to our people in various circumstances.


This came during an emergency meeting of the committee, held this evening, Wednesday, at the invitation and presence of the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the "Fatah" movement, Mahmoud Al-Aloul, and the presence of the governor, Major General Ibrahim Ramadan, and representatives of various official institutions and national activities in the governorate, during which the current circumstances were studied, especially in light of the continued aggression. The Israeli occupation of Nablus, continuing its threat, imposing a strict siege on it, and increasing the frequency of settler attacks on citizens and their property.


The conferees held the Israeli occupation government fully responsible for any aggression against citizens and their property, and stressed the need to harden the home front, strengthen national unity and activate joint action.


The conferees also stressed the need to activate the popular committees in various regions and neighborhoods and to raise the pace of readiness in order to meet the needs of citizens in all circumstances.


The Emergency Committee saluted the steadfast Palestinian farmers on their land, and appealed to the masses of our people and its various institutions to organize voluntary campaigns to help the people pick olives this season, and protect them from piracy by settlers and the occupation army.
