Legal sources reported, quoting captive doctor Hussam Abu Safiya, that he has been subjected to a series of violent physical assaults inside Israeli occupation prisons. Lawyers explained after visiting him on Thursday that the doctor's health condition is concerning due to the continued systematic abuse he has faced since his arrest, showing signs of exhaustion and injuries resulting from direct beatings.

According to Abu Safiya's testimony, the jailers beat him again brutally, causing a severe injury to one of his fingers that led to heavy bleeding.
