Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - The Ministry of Culture announced the launch of the Palestine National Theater Festival on the twenty-fifth of this month, in its third session.

The culture stated in a statement today, Sunday, that the launch of the festival comes from its belief in the importance of the Palestinian theater as one of the most important tributaries of culture, and its keenness on its continuous support for this important sector and as a continuation of the previous two sessions, after it was interrupted for two years due to the Corona pandemic.

It was decided that the activities of the festival will begin on Tuesday, 25 to 31, with a series of theatrical performances, two performances per day, in the Al-Kasaba Theatre, in addition to organizing a number of theater-related seminars in a number of governorates.

On the sidelines of the festival, three intellectual seminars will be held in which specialists and those interested in the theatrical field will speak, distributed spatially over three governorates (Jenin, Ramallah, and Bethlehem). In Jenin Governorate and the Freedom Theater as a model.

The competition between the participating shows will be for several awards: Best Integrated Show, Best Direction, Best Scenography, Best Actress, and Best Actor.
