Prison administration assaults prisoners in "Naqeb" prison, tension in "Nafha" prison

Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - The Commission for Detainees and Ex-Prisoners' Affairs said, on Wednesday, that "a large force from the prison administration and the repression units attacked the prisoners' sections in the Negev prison."


According to the commission, that Israeli force assaulted the prisoners by beating and excessive force, while the prisoners burned rooms in Castle C in the prison.


The authority said: "A state of tension and alertness prevails in the atmosphere of the" Negev" prison. This came after the prison administration's attempt to impose new penalties on the prisoners."


In another statement, the Captive Club said, "A state of tension prevails in "Nafha" prison after the repressive forces stormed one of the rooms in section (14) and transferred the prisoner Samir al-Tubasi, the prince of Islamic Jihad in the prison, to the cells, by decision of the Israeli intelligence.


It is noteworthy that the prisoner Tubasi (41 years) from Jenin, has been detained since 2001, and is sentenced to life imprisonment.


For the sixteenth day in a row, the prisoners are engaged in civil disobedience against the steps taken by the occupation prison administration.
