The Ministry of Agriculture sends a shipment of veterinary vaccines to the Gaza Strip

Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - Today, Wednesday, the Ministry of Agriculture sent a shipment of veterinary vaccines for sheep and cows to combat various diseases affecting livestock, from the central ministry's warehouses in Ramallah to the veterinary services warehouses in the Gaza Strip .


The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Abdullah Lahlouh, said in a statement issued by the ministry, that the shipment was received by the veterinary services in the southern governorates, and it includes (12,500 foot-and-mouth disease vaccine for cows, 10,000 foot-and-mouth disease vaccine for sheep, 20,000 sheeppox vaccine, 25,000 plague vaccine. small ruminants, 30,000 brucellosis vaccine) in addition to some adjuvants.


He pointed out that this shipment was sent within the framework of government directives and commitment towards our farmers and the agricultural sector in the southern governorates, especially in light of the difficult conditions the sector is going through. It also comes to meet the needs of confronting animal diseases and reducing the losses resulting from them, and to support livestock breeders in light of the Israeli targeting. and the blockade imposed on the Strip.


Lahlouh assured that these vaccines will be provided free of charge to livestock breeders in the Gaza Strip, and that the ministry is working periodically to provide all necessary vaccines and veterinary supplies to combat animal diseases in all governorates of the country.
