Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - The Commission for Detainees and Ex-Prisoners' Affairs published, in its report issued today, Sunday, details of the health status of a number of prisoners languishing in the Negev prison, after the commission's lawyer, Fadi Obeidat, visited them.

The prisoner, Ahmed Wajih Wahdan (24 years), from Qalandia camp, suffers from a difficult health condition as a result of a traffic accident before his capture, which caused an injury to the head area, which led to limited movement, and he underwent rehabilitative treatment before his arrest, but he stopped receiving any treatment. Or medical follow-up after his capture, which exacerbated his health condition, and he suffered from a constant feeling of dizziness, and remained seated all day.

As for the prisoner, Raed Youssef Rayan (29 years), from Beit Duqu - the outskirts of Jerusalem, he suffers from the presence of bacteria that come out of the stomach and infect the tongue, in addition to a problem with the nerves, which causes him a state of imbalance and forgetfulness.

The prisoner was infected with this type of bacteria, after he went on strike on 11/03/2021, for a period of 113 days, to protest his administrative detention, as there was a previous agreement with the Public Prosecution to release him on 11/01/2022, but they did not abide by the terms of The agreement was extended for the third time.

Note that prisoner Rayan receives medication for nerves, and the prison clinic informed him that the problem of bacteria is permanent and has no cure.

The prisoner, Obaidan Abd al-Rahman Samara (37 years), from Salfit, suffers from a hearing problem in the left ear, a disk, and high blood pressure that causes him to faint, while the prison clinic only gave him pressure pills and ear drops, while refusing to conduct the necessary examinations for him.

Note that the prisoner was arrested on 04/26/2022, and no charges were brought against him, under the pretext of having a secret file, and his administrative detention was extended three times, each time 4 + 4 + 4 months, as the last extension ends on 04/23/2023
