Biden will be accompanied by his Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, National Security Council Chairman Jake Sullivan, and a delegation that also includes high-ranking officials.

And at exactly four o'clock, Biden will go to the exhibition of air defense systems located inside the airport, which includes the Iron Dome and a system that works with laser technology to intercept marches and missiles.

An hour later, Biden will arrive at the Yad Vashem Foundation in Jerusalem to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust and lay a wreath.

During the visit, the United States and Israel will sign a document called the "Jerusalem" statement to consolidate bilateral security cooperation in particular. It will also address the Iranian file, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and advance normalization with the countries of the Middle East.

Many main roads in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem were closed, amid a high security alert, and more than 16,000 Israeli policemen were deployed in various regions.
