The mother of the prisoner Abd al-Hadi Kamil: We are concerned about the attempt to fabricate a false accusation against my son and his arbitrary arrest
Jenin - "Jerusalem" dot com - Ali Samoudi - The family of the student prisoner, Abd al-Hadi Issam Muhammad Kamil (16 years), is experiencing feelings of fear and anxiety for the life of their son, a student in the eleventh grade, in light of his continued isolation and interrogation in the cells of "Al-Jalama" prison. And after the occupation forces tried to storm his house in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, they accused him of possession of a weapon, without taking into account that he was a minor.
The mother, Umm al-Abed, says: "When the soldiers stormed our house, we were surprised by the intelligence officer interrogating his sisters about his whereabouts even though he was in the house. Suddenly, the officer took out a pistol from another soldier's bag, and asked us: Whose gun is this? I told him, This is for you and you took it out now." From the bag of one of your soldiers, he remained silent and did not speak, but we felt fear for Abd al-Hadi and an attempt to accuse him of a serious charge, even though he is young, a student and has nothing to do with politics.
Abd al-Hadi is considered the only one among his three sisters. He was born and raised in the town of Qabatiya, where he continues his education. His mother says: "My son is still a child. He has nothing to do with politics and does not belong to a party or organization. He is committed to his education and perseveres in his studies. He is still in school, but the occupation has cut off the way and prevented him from it.
She added, "At about four o'clock in the morning, a large number of soldiers, accompanied by sniffer dogs, stormed our house. They detained and isolated us, while we, especially my daughters, lived nightmares of terror and anxiety because of their occupation and spread, as if they were coming to a war field."
And she continues: "The soldiers turned the house upside down. They not only searched, but also completely destroyed all its contents, including the refrigerator and the washing machine. They exercised our right to investigate and threaten us, which made us terrified and heartbroken over the life of my child, whom they tied and tied without mercy or pity."
Immediately after his arrest, the occupation forces transferred Abd al-Hadi to the cellars for investigation in al-Jalama prison, and his mother says: "We did not believe that my student son and the child who was taking exams turned from a student to a prisoner. We went to all institutions to release him, but to no avail. He is still arrested and detained under torture." .
And she adds: "The occupation prevented the lawyer from visiting him, and we did not receive news about his conditions, and the only information is that they brought him to the Jalama Internal Court, which extended his detention until next Tuesday for the continuation of the investigation."
And she continues: "In his absence, we feel sadness and pain. He was our helper during his father's absence, fulfilling our needs. He was distinguished by the righteousness of parents and innocence. He was keen to help people and his relationship was strong with his sisters and all the neighbors and those who knew him, and considered him the right arm of his father and our family."
Eagerly than ever, Um al-Abed is waiting for the date of the next court session, and says: "Since his arrest, our house has become dark, and our lives are sorrow, crying and tears. There is no taste for life in his absence, especially for his sisters. He is the only one whose imprisonment in an unjust prison hurts us."
And she adds: "I hope to bring him to Salem Court so that we can see him and be assured of his health, as he is a small child and there is no justification for destroying his life and future. My heart has been crying since he was taken from us, and I hope that the Lord of the Worlds will make us happy with his freedom so that he lights our house and reunites us and completes his education.
