"Prisoners' Authority": 10 months since the detainee Abu Shreen was isolated in harsh detention conditions
Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs confirmed today, Tuesday, that the occupation prison administration continues for the tenth consecutive month to detain the prisoner Mahmoud Abu Shrin (25 years) from the Jenin camp, in solitary confinement cells, with harsh and unbearable conditions of detention and life. .
In a statement, the authority indicated that the prisoner Abu Shreen faced difficult circumstances during the past ten months, as the occupation deliberately took him from one isolation to another, where he moved between the cells of “Megiddo”, “Ramon” and “Ayalon”, in which he lived in conditions that lacked the slightest elements. human life, completely isolated from the outside world and without electrical tools, and he had nothing in his possession except some of his personal belongings, and during that period the prisoner was subjected to beatings and assaults by the occupation jailers while he was detained inside the cells of "Ayalon", and on the 26th of last July he was transferred again to Megiddo cells where he is now.
The commission pointed out that the prisoner Abu Shrin was charged with providing assistance to the six prisoners who liberated themselves from the "Jilboa Prison" last year in the "Freedom Tunnel" operation, and as a result, a series of punitive measures began against him, like other prisoners who were charged with the same charge.
It is worth mentioning that Abu Shreen has been detained since March 20, 2017, and a 4-year prison sentence was issued against him at the time. He was expected to be released after serving his sentence in September, and an additional 4-year actual prison sentence and a fine of 2,000 were added to his previous sentence. Shekel, and the same ruling was issued against his fellow prisoners who were charged with the same charge, namely Qusai Merhi, Ali Abu Bakr, Muhammad Abu Bakr, and Iyad Jaradat.
