As well as an emphysema in the lung, as a result of the effects of the severe injury he suffered during arrest.
The Captive Club stated that Gwadrah, who was subjected to willful medical negligence over the years of his detention, had recently suffered from a deterioration in his health condition, and after preliminary examinations conducted on him last June, which were carried out after numerous claims; At the time, it revealed the presence of a tumor whose nature was not determined, until other medical examinations were conducted recently, which showed that he did not have a cancerous tumor.
The Captive Club added that Gwadara, who was in "Nafha" prison when he was arrested in 2003, was 15 years old, and at that time he was seriously injured, as he was hit by seven bullets, and underwent several surgeries, during which part of his stomach was removed, and he was sentenced to death. The occupation was subsequently imprisoned for life.
The Captive Club continued, that the prisoner Gawadrah needs health follow-up and periodic examinations to monitor his health condition, especially since dozens of prisoners who initially suffered from health problems, and needed follow-up, worsened their health condition, as a result of the policy of medical negligence (slow killing), until their problems transformed Their health conditions lead to chronic diseases that are difficult to treat, and some of them died years later.
It is noteworthy that the number of sick prisoners in the occupation prisons is about 600, including 200 prisoners who suffer from chronic diseases and need close health follow-up.
