“She was fighting to reach me.” This is what prisoner Karim Younes said about losing his mother!

Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - Ghaid Qassem, the lawyer of the prisoner, Karim Younes, was able to visit him, days after the loss of his mother, Hajja "Sobhiya", who was soon awaiting his freedom after 40 years of captivity.


Lawyer Qassem quoted Yunus as saying about his mother: "My mother visited me in prison nearly 700 visits. She was fighting to get me to prison. She did not tire despite the thorns the occupier had strewn in her path."


Yunus added, "Despite the pain and loss, I felt happy and proud when I learned that the Palestinian flag was planted on the cemetery of Ara village."


The prisoner Younis (the dean of prisoners) is in Hadarim prison, and his mother represents the icon of Palestine in patience and the supreme and splendid model for the mothers of prisoners and the Palestinian woman, the patient and calculated resistance.


The lawyer said: "The morale of Karim is very high, complete surrender and certainty in God's will. I saw before me a man whose determination is strong, mountains that reach the sky, grateful and appreciative of the solidarity of his people, and he reassures everyone that he is fine and guides you to peace... believing that the shackles will be broken... and the sun of his freedom will shine." He ended his speech: "The occupation will inevitably come to an end."


She added, "Karim's mother left him before embracing him... However, their embrace is definitely delayed and her ululation will resound in the sky on the day of your liberation, O Karim."
