A stand by school students in Ramallah to demand the countries of the world to end the occupation
Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - Today, Thursday, students in Ramallah schools participated in a stand in front of Nelson Mandela Square in the Tira neighborhood, calling on world leaders to work hard to end the Israeli occupation, coinciding with the annual meeting of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The participants in the vigil raised Palestinian flags, chanted slogans denouncing the occupation, and expressed their hope to live in security and peace like the rest of the world's children.
This stand comes at the invitation of the Cubs and Flowers Foundation to convey the message of the children of Palestine to world leaders, coinciding with the convening of the United Nations General Assembly, and the expected speech of President Mahmoud Abbas, tomorrow, Friday.
Student Tala addressed world leaders, saying: "The children of Palestine have the right to freedom, and we send a message to the world that we dream of living in security, peace and dignity."
And she continued: "There are more than 180 children imprisoned in the prisons of the occupation, they must be released, and we also appeal to all free people in the world and international institutions to provide the necessary protection for the children of Palestine who face daily violations of the occupation.
