The "Israeli Prosecution" files an indictment against the Syrian Ghaith Al-Abdullah

According to the indictment - as stated in the Arabic-speaking Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation, the detainee is the son-in-law of a member of the Lebanese "Hezbollah" and he used to live with him in his house, and in late 2019 and early 2020 he began working to collect intelligence in his area of residence near The border fence between Syria and occupied Palestine at the request of his son-in-law.


The accused was assigned to collect information about the Israeli army forces in terms of the nature of the forces, type of vehicles, quantity, traffic hours, travel directions, and other details.


He was also required to document everything in reports in addition to taking pictures, and he was promised a monthly salary for these services, and after eight months had passed, the accused realized that he was collecting this intelligence information not for the Syrian security and that whoever was behind this assignment was the Lebanese Hezbollah. . The details of the indictment stated that the detainee obtained 4.5 million Syrian pounds during his espionage activity until he was arrested in January of this year 2023, in an ambush set by the Israeli army when he infiltrated from the northern border.
