Medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported today, Sunday, that the occupation forces committed several field attacks, resulting in 9 martyrs and 41 injured arriving at hospitals during the past twenty-four hours. The sources clarified that these numbers represent only the cases that medical teams were able to transport, amidst the ongoing military aggression that disregards all existing international understandings.
The Ministry of Health, in its daily statistical report, indicated that a large number of victims are still under the rubble of destroyed homes and in rugged alleyways. Civil defense and ambulance crews face extreme difficulties in reaching these areas due to direct targeting and escalating field dangers, which prevents the recovery of the missing or the provision of urgent relief to the injured in those locations.
Regarding the toll since the last understandings, official data revealed that the number of martyrs since the ceasefire decision came into effect on October 11th has reached 1021 martyrs, while the list of injured has risen to 3249. Rescue teams also managed to recover 784 bodies during the same period, reflecting the extent of the continuous violations of the truce, which sources described as fragile.
As for the cumulative toll since October 7, 2023, the number of victims has jumped to 73,032 martyrs, while documented injuries in the Ministry of Health's records reached approximately 173,357 injuries. These shocking figures come amidst extremely complex humanitarian and health conditions experienced by the residents of the Strip with the continued siege and destruction of the medical system's infrastructure.
These bloody field developments coincide with 255 days passing since the violation of the Sharm El Sheikh agreement, brokered by Arab and American parties in October 2025, which aimed to end the aggressive war. Despite the agreement, military operations have not ceased, leading to a complete disruption of search and recovery operations, and the continued bloodshed in various governorates of the Gaza Strip.
A number of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, due to the inability of ambulance and civil defense crews to reach them as a result of the hazardous field conditions.
