Official sources in the Gaza Strip reported that Israeli occupation forces continued their systematic violations of the ongoing ceasefire agreement, with the Government Media Office documenting 377 violations during April. The sources clarified that these aggressions resulted in the martyrdom of 111 individuals and the injury of 376 citizens with varying degrees of severity, constituting a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.
Data issued by the Ministry of Health indicates that the total number of victims of violations since the agreement came into effect on October 10, 2025, has risen to 824 martyrs and 2,316 injured. These figures reflect a deteriorating field reality despite the existence of de-escalation understandings that were supposed to put an end to the continuous Palestinian bloodshed.
Regarding humanitarian supplies, the government report revealed a sharp decline in aid flow, as the occupation only allowed the entry of 4,503 trucks out of 18,000 trucks stipulated in the agreement. These figures mean that the percentage of what reached the Strip does not exceed 25% of the agreed-upon needs, deepening the food and medical gap for the besieged population.
Obstruction was not limited to basic goods but extended to the energy and fuel sector, which witnessed a dangerous decline, as only 187 fuel trucks entered during the month out of 1,500 scheduled trucks. Local sources confirmed that this meager percentage, which did not exceed 12%, led to a paralysis in vital services, especially in the health and water sectors and the operation of remaining power stations.
Concerning freedom of movement, sources recorded severe restrictions at the Strip's crossings, where only 156 travelers were able to move back and forth out of 6,000 humanitarian and student cases covered by the understandings. This systematic closure deprived hundreds of patients and students from reaching their essential destinations, reinforcing the policy of collective punishment imposed on the population.
The Government Media Office stressed that these field indicators prove the failure to implement the agreement's provisions due to deliberate Israeli procrastination aimed at keeping the humanitarian situation in a state of continuous deterioration. The statement held the occupation authorities fully responsible for the catastrophic repercussions resulting from the policies of starvation and direct killing practiced against civilians in Gaza.
Government bodies in Gaza called on international mediators and the international community to urgently intervene to compel the occupation to implement all provisions of the agreement without selectivity or procrastination. They also called for accelerating the entry of aid and fuel and regularly opening crossings to ensure the flow of basic needs and enable humanitarian cases to travel freely.
It is worth noting that the Gaza Strip has been suffering from a severe blockade since 2007, and conditions have unprecedentedly worsened after the genocide war that began in October 2023. That war led to widespread destruction of infrastructure and homes, leaving about 1.5 million Palestinians homeless amidst living and health conditions described as the most tragic in modern history.
These developments come at a time when the international community is trying to consolidate the pillars of de-escalation that followed two years of comprehensive aggression, which left more than 72,000 martyrs and over 172,000 injured. With these violations continuing, fears of the collapse of fragile understandings and the return of conditions to a square of comprehensive military escalation increase in the absence of effective international guarantees.
Indicators confirm the failure to implement the agreement's provisions and continued procrastination, undermining de-escalation and keeping the humanitarian situation deteriorating.
