The Israeli army killed a Palestinian on Tuesday in southern Gaza, claiming he crossed the "yellow line."

It was claimed in a statement that a person was spotted crossing the "yellow line" and approaching the army forces operating in southern Gaza, posing a "direct threat" to them.

It added: "Immediately upon the observation, the forces present in the field eliminated him to remove the threat," without announcing his identity or the fate of his body.

Since the announcement of the ceasefire agreement coming into effect on October 10, the Israeli army has reported several similar operations in an attempt to justify its repeated violations.

The "yellow line" is the line to which the Israeli army withdrew as part of the implementation of the first phase of U.S. President Donald Trump's plan to end the war on Gaza, and it constitutes more than half of the area of the strip.

The Israeli genocide that Tel Aviv began on October 8, 2023, and continued for two years, has resulted in over 69,000 dead and 170,000 injured, most of whom are women and children.

However, Tel Aviv has violated the agreement dozens of times, killing and injuring hundreds of Palestinians, in addition to violating the humanitarian protocol related to aid and the entry of necessary equipment to remove tons of rubble due to the Israeli destruction.
