Twenty citizens were killed and others injured, early Sunday morning, in raids launched by Israeli occupation aircraft on Rafah and Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, eight citizens were killed and others were injured when the occupation forces bombed the Ashour family's home in the Al-Janina neighborhood in Rafah, and two citizens were killed in the Hashashin area in Rafah. A number of citizens were also injured when the occupation forces bombed the Shaat family's home in the Al-Nasr neighborhood, north of the city.
In Khan Yunis, four citizens were killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the Abu Daqqa family home in the Al-Fakhari area in the east. Two citizens, including a child, were killed and others were injured in the Israeli bombing of a home in the Japanese neighborhood in the west of the city. Two citizens were killed and others were injured in the bombing of a tent sheltering displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area. Two citizens were killed and others were injured in the Israeli bombing of the Al-Agha family home in the north of the city.
Four civilians were injured when Israeli warplanes bombed a house in the Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City. They were transferred to the Arab Baptist Hospital in the city.
Last Tuesday morning, the Israeli occupation resumed its war of extermination in the Gaza Strip, resulting in approximately 600 martyrs and more than 1,000 wounded by Thursday evening, 70% of whom are children, women, and the elderly.
The occupation has been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 162,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 14,000 missing.
