Palestinian Prisoners Club: Israeli Occupation forces arrest at least 20 Palestinians from the West Bank, including former prisoners
Since yesterday evening until Tuesday morning, the Israeli occupation forces have arrested at least (20) Palestinian citizens from the West Bank, including the freed prisoner Israa Ghneimat from Surif/Hebron, in addition to former prisoners.
The Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club said in a joint statement that "the arrests were distributed across the governorates of Hebron, Ramallah, Nablus, Bethlehem, Qalqilya, and Salfit, while the occupation continues to implement its military operation in the governorates of Jenin and Tulkarm for weeks, accompanied by ongoing arrests and field investigations, as the number of arrests in Jenin and its camp since the beginning of the invasion has reached 300 cases, while in Tulkarm and its camps, the number of arrests has reached at least 180."
The statement noted that "the re-arrest of the released prisoner Ghneimat is a new violation of the exchange deals that were made, and it is a dangerous matter, and a new message from the occupation that anyone who is released will be a target for arrest again, even if he is part of the exchange deals, and we consider this a dangerous measure that could affect the fate of all those released later within the deal."
He stressed the "necessity of the intervention of mediators and supervisors (the two sister countries, Egypt and Qatar) to complete the exchange deals, to pressure the occupation not to re-arrest the released prisoners and to stop pursuing them."
