Injuries and arrests in the West Bank

Today, Monday, the Israeli occupation forces injured two citizens and arrested others in the West Bank.


In Jenin, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that its crews transferred a 3-month-old baby girl to the hospital after she suffered from suffocation from tear gas at the entrance to Jenin camp.


In Bethlehem, the occupation forces stormed several areas in the Bethlehem Governorate and arrested: Mahmoud Nasser Shoka (23 years old) from Al-Fawaghra neighborhood, Nour Al-Din Mahmoud Qaraqe (20 years old) from Al-Karkafa area, Abdullah Shoka, and Firas Ahmed Hassan (42 years old) from Al-Saff Street area, Muhammad Raed Zawahra (27 years old) from Khalayel Al-Loz east, and Atef Naji Abayat (23 years old) from Al-Abayat area east.


In Salfit, a child was injured, at dawn on Monday, during the Israeli occupation forces’ storming of the town of Bidya.


Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the town and deployed in its streets, amidst live bullets and sound bombs, which led to the injury of the child Baraa Ibrahim Fayez Musleh (16 years old), a resident of the town of Sarta, in his hand.


The same sources added that the occupation forces fired bullets at shops and passersby randomly, and arrested a young man whose identity is not yet known.


In Qalqilya, a citizen (45 years old) was injured by a bullet fired at him by occupation soldiers, near the racist separation wall built on the lands of the town of Habla, south of Qalqilya, and was subsequently transferred to the hospital.


In Ramallah, the occupation forces arrested the two young men, Qassam Younis Al-Barghouthi, from Deir Abu Mash'al, and Amir Abdul Jaber from Jalazone camp, after raiding and searching their parents' homes.


These forces also seized two vehicles from Jalazone camp, belonging to citizens Murad and Jihad Nakhleh.


In Hebron, the occupation forces raided Al-Arroub camp and arrested the young man Habib Aziz Issa, and the three youths Qutaiba Talat Aziz Issa, Muhannad Haitham Al-Balasi, and Montaser Anwar Karma.


Several military checkpoints were also set up at the entrances to Hebron, its towns, villages and camps, and a number of main and secondary roads were closed with iron gates, cement blocks and earthen barriers.
