44 child and female prisoners released in the seventh exchange batch arrive in the Gaza Strip

Hamas's media director for prisoners, Nahed Al-Fakhoury, confirmed on Thursday that the seventh batch of the prisoner exchange deal will be completed today with the release of 46 Palestinian prisoners from the Gaza Strip by the Israeli occupation.

Al-Fakhouri explained that the occupation released 596 Palestinian prisoners at dawn on Thursday, as part of the seventh and final batch of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement.

A bus carrying a number of released female and child prisoners arrived in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, as part of the seventh batch of the exchange deal.

Sources reported that 44 female and child prisoners were released as part of the deal, and were transferred to the Gaza Strip amidst a popular and official reception.

Al-Fakhouri pointed out that the total number of prisoners included in the seventh batch amounted to 642 prisoners, including 151 sentenced to life imprisonment and high sentences, and 445 detainees from Gaza after October 7, 2023, in addition to 46 female and child prisoners who will be released today.
