Israeli occupation demolishes a restaurant and facilities of a sports stadium west of Bethlehem
Today, Thursday, the Israeli occupation forces demolished a restaurant and facilities of a sports stadium in the town of Nahalin, west of Bethlehem.
Local sources reported that an occupation army force, accompanied by a bulldozer, stormed Nahalin and took up positions in the Wadi al-Baqara area at the main northern entrance, and demolished a restaurant and facilities for a sports field belonging to citizen Muhammad Sharif Najajra.
The sources added that the occupation forces closed the demolition area and fired tear gas and sound bombs at citizens and vehicles, without any injuries being reported.
It is noteworthy that months ago, the occupation forces demolished a commercial complex in the same area, which included four barracks, a warehouse, and an aluminum shop.
Last month, the occupation authorities carried out 76 demolition operations that affected 126 facilities, including 74 inhabited homes, 4 uninhabited ones, and 29 agricultural and other facilities. They were concentrated in the governorates of Jenin, with the demolition of 47 facilities, then the Jerusalem governorate with 14 facilities, Qalqilya with 11, and Bethlehem and Nablus with 10 facilities each.
