Israeli occupation threatens to demolish 11 houses in Nour Shams camp, east of Tulkarm
The Israeli occupation forces notified, tonight, the demolition of 11 houses in the Nour Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarm city.
Local sources told WAFA that the occupation forces intend to demolish these homes under the pretext of paving a road starting from the camp square towards the Manshiyya neighborhood, and they belong to the families of Yousef, Jabali, Mar’i, Abu Shalbaya, Irani, Shihab, Younis, and Ghanem.
The sources added that the occupation gave the owners of the targeted homes a deadline to go to the camp and evacuate their basic necessities between 8:00 and 11:00 am on Wednesday.
The occupation's aggression on Nour Shams camp entered its 18th day, as the occupation forces carried out repeated raids on homes after blowing up their doors, displacing their residents at gunpoint, and turning them into military barracks.
The camp was also subjected to extensive and complete destruction of infrastructure and property, including homes and shops that were demolished, bombed and burned, which exacerbated the suffering of citizens who remained in their homes, under a tight siege and a shortage of basic materials such as food, water, medicine and baby milk.
During the past few days, the camp witnessed a large displacement movement among its residents, including women, children, the elderly and the sick, concentrated in the neighborhoods of Al-Maslakh, Al-Manshiya, and Jabal Al-Salihin and Al-Nasr, where their number exceeded 5,000 displaced persons.
The Israeli occupation continues its aggression on the city of Tulkarm and the Tulkarm refugee camp for more than a month.
