Hamas spokesman Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Qanou stated that the movement is waiting for the Israeli occupation to implement all the provisions of the humanitarian protocol, stressing Hamas’ readiness to complete the implementation of the agreement in all its stages in a way that achieves its demands.

Al-Qanou accused the occupation of using internationally banned weapons against the Palestinian people, while demanding the disarmament of the legitimate resistance, stressing the need to form international committees to investigate the use of these weapons.

Al-Qanou' stressed Hamas's commitment to the ceasefire agreement as long as the occupation adheres to it, noting that the second phase negotiations have not yet practically begun, but the movement is ready to engage in them in accordance with what is stipulated in the agreement.

In a related context, Al-Qanou accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of procrastinating in implementing the second phase of the ceasefire agreement.
