Two Palestinians succumbed to their wounds in the southern Gaza Strip

Two citizens died today, Monday, from injuries they sustained two days ago in the governorates of Rafah and Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that the two dead were injured by the occupation's bullets and shelling in Rafah and Khan Yunis.

Yesterday evening, Sunday, citizen Hani Awad Abu Halawa (the poet) was martyred due to wounds he sustained last Wednesday as a result of the occupation forces’ shelling east of Rafah city.

The occupation's gunboats fired their machine guns towards the shore of Khan Yunis city, south of the Strip, and towards the shore of Rafah, while the occupation's vehicles fired illumination bombs into the sky of the Al-Ezba area, west of Rafah.

The occupation forces, stationed east of Beit Hanoun town, north of the Gaza Strip, also fired machine guns at the citizens' lands in the town.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has launched a war of genocide on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of 48,271 citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 111,693 others, in an incomplete toll, as a number of victims are still under the rubble, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.
