The Prisoners Authority and the Prisoners Club hold the occupation fully responsible for the fate of thousands of detainees in Ofer Prison
The Commission of Prisoners' Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club held the administration of the Ofer prison fully responsible for the fate of thousands of detainees held there, following the announcement by the Israeli Prison Service of a wide-scale repression operation against them in the prison.
The Commission and the Club, in a statement issued on Sunday evening, issued an urgent appeal to the international human rights system to assume its responsibilities towards the systematic crimes practiced by the occupation prison system against detainees, most notably: crimes of torture, medical crimes, and starvation, in addition to the repression and raids that constitute one of the most prominent systematic policies used against detainees to abuse and torture them, and which have led to the martyrdom of detainees, specifically after the war of extermination, which constituted the bloodiest stage in the history of the prisoner movement.
It is noteworthy that the number of detainees in the occupation prisons is more than ten thousand detainees, and this data does not include all the detainees in Gaza in the camps affiliated with the occupation army, while 58 detainees were martyred in the occupation prisons since the Israeli aggression against our people in October 2023.
