A child was killed when an object left behind by the occupation exploded in the Gaza Strip
A child was killed on Thursday evening, as a result of an explosion of an object left behind by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, the child Hamouda Alaa Saud (14 years old) was killed as a result of the explosion of an object left behind by the occupation in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The Director of the United Nations Mine Action Service in the occupied Palestinian territory, Luke Irving, warned at the end of last month about the remnants of the occupation army and their impact on the lives of civilians.
It explained that these munitions caused "the killing and wounding of civilians, and the obstruction of humanitarian operations, and that initial reports document 92 victims since October 2023."
Medical sources announced today that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 48,239, most of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression on October 7.
It added that the number of injuries has risen to 111,676 since the beginning of the aggression, while a number of victims are still under the rubble, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.
