During the meeting, King Abdullah reaffirmed his foremost commitment to Jordan, emphasizing its stability and the well-being of its people. He expressed appreciation for President Trump’s warm welcome and highlighted the continued importance of the US-Jordan partnership in promoting security and peace in the region.
Firm Stance Against Palestinian Displacement
A key focus of the discussions was the situation in Gaza and the West Bank. Call for a Two-State Solution and U.S. Leadership
The King reaffirmed his belief that achieving a just and lasting peace based on the two-state solution is the only viable path to regional stability.
He urged strong US leadership in this regard, recognizing Trump’s role in securing the recent Gaza ceasefire. "President Trump is a man of peace," he stated, adding that it is now essential for the US and international stakeholders to ensure that the ceasefire holds.
Preventing Escalation in the West Bank
