West Bank: Hundreds of Palestinian citizens forcibly displaced from Far'a camp
Hundreds of citizens were forcibly displaced today, Saturday, from Al-Far'a camp, south of Tubas, on the seventh day of the Israeli occupation's aggression and siege of the camp.
Local sources reported that dozens of families from the camp began to flee through a single passage, which is the eastern entrance to the camp, as the occupation forces set a time from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for citizens to leave the camp.
She added that this comes during a continuous siege and aggression on the camp for seven days, during which the occupation forces destroyed the infrastructure and bulldozed the streets leading to and inside the camp, and also worked to destroy the infrastructure and cut off water lines.
The occupation forces also raided homes and forced many families to leave them and use them as military barracks.
It also carried out many arrests, in addition to dozens of cases of detention and field investigations.
The Governor of Tubas and the Northern Jordan Valley, Ahmed Al-Asaad, condemned the occupation forcing families to leave their homes and forcibly evacuating them from Al-Far’a camp.
Al-Asaad confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces forced dozens of families in Al-Far'a camp to leave their homes, under threat of arms, and exit the camp, which has been suffering from a tight closure and siege for the sixth consecutive day.
He pointed out that in coordination with the Supreme Emergency Committee in the governorate, work was done to open three schools in the city of Tubas to house the "displaced" from the camp, and work was done to provide them with all the supplies they needed to help them.
For seven days, the citizens have been living in difficult humanitarian conditions due to the water being cut off from the camp, and the depletion of food and basic supplies, in addition to medicines and baby milk.
