Al-Qassam Brigades hands over 3 Israeli detainees to the Red Cross
The Al-Qassam Brigades handed over 3 Israeli detainees to the Red Cross team in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip as part of the exchange deal.
The following were released: Or Levy (34 years old), Eli Sharabi (52 years old), and the German-Israeli Ohad Ben-Ami (56 years old).
The Israeli Prison Service began releasing 183 Palestinian prisoners as part of the fifth batch of the first phase of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal between Hamas and Israel.
The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth said: "The Israeli Prison Service began today to release Palestinian detainees from Ofer and Ketziot (Negev desert) prisons."
She added that the prisoners began to board the buses in preparation for their transfer by the Israeli security forces.
Today, 183 Palestinian prisoners are scheduled to be released from Israeli prisons in exchange for the release of 3 Israeli prisoners by the Al-Qassam Brigades.
