The Government Media Office in Gaza announced that the number of victims of the war on Gaza has exceeded 61,000 dead, amid widespread destruction that has affected various aspects of life.

The office explained that the aggression led to the displacement of more than two million Palestinians from their homes, in light of a worsening humanitarian disaster and the lack of basic necessities of life.

The report also revealed that the Israeli occupation aggression caused the partial or complete destruction of more than 150,000 housing units, in addition to putting 34 hospitals out of service, which led to a near-total collapse of the health sector.

The office pointed out that the occupation committed 9,268 massacres against Palestinian families, and targeted medical and media crews and the civil defense system, as the attacks resulted in the death of 1,155 medical crews, 205 journalists, and 194 civil defense personnel, which increases the difficulty of providing humanitarian and relief services in the sector.

The Government Media Office confirmed that the Israeli war of extermination continues to target civilians and infrastructure, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities and stop these crimes against the Palestinian people.
