Israeli occupation blows up a number of houses in Jenin camp
Today, Sunday, the Israeli occupation forces blew up a number of buildings in Jenin camp.
According to local sources, the occupation forces simultaneously blew up about 20 buildings in the eastern part of Jenin camp, after rigging them with explosives, adding that the sounds of huge explosions were heard throughout the city of Jenin and parts of the towns of the governorate.
Director of Jenin Governmental Hospital, Wissam Bakr, said that some departments of the hospital were damaged by the explosions, but no injuries were recorded.
It is noteworthy that the residential buildings in Jenin camp are built vertically, as each building contains more than one apartment, which means that a large number of families lost their homes due to the bombing.
The Israeli occupation continues its aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp, for the thirteenth consecutive day, leaving 25 martyrs, dozens of injuries, arrests, and widespread destruction of property and infrastructure.
This morning, Sunday, the elderly man Walid al-Lahlouh, 73 years old, was martyred by the bullets of an occupation sniper at the entrance to Jenin camp, and a citizen was also injured by bullets in the thigh, in the Jabriyat neighborhood of the city.
Yesterday, Saturday, five citizens, including a child, were martyred in the eastern neighborhood of the city of Jenin and the town of Qabatiya to the south. They are: the child Ahmed Al-Saadi, Nour Al-Saadi, Tamam Al-Saadi, Saleh Zakarneh, and Abdul Alawneh.
It is noteworthy that the occupation forced nearly 15 thousand people to be displaced from Jenin camp and Al-Hadaf neighborhood, and they were distributed in several villages and towns in the governorate.
The city's hospitals are suffering from a severe water shortage, after the occupation targeted and destroyed the water lines, as nearly 35% of the city's residents suffer from a lack of water.
The occupation forces completely demolished nearly 100 homes in Jenin camp, amid widespread destruction of the infrastructure.
