Updated: Israeli forces arrest three Palestinians in Bethlehem and the Jordan Valley
Today, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested three citizens in Bethlehem and the northern Jordan Valley.
Local sources reported that a special Israeli unit affiliated with the occupation forces arrested the citizen Salah Muhammad Faraj, in his forties, while he was in the village of Artas, south of Bethlehem.
In the northern Jordan Valley, the occupation forces arrested two young men, An’ad Hassan Mustafa Rabaya and Saleh Yousef Khanifis, who confronted settlers and prevented them from stealing cows belonging to a citizen in the village of Bardala.
The citizens of Bardala village had confronted an attack launched by a number of settlers on the village, who tried to steal cows belonging to the citizen Jamal Abdul Sawafta in the western area of the village.
Clashes then erupted between the villagers and the settlers, with the support of the occupation forces.
It is noteworthy that settlers established a pastoral colonial outpost west of the village about two weeks ago, and since then they have begun carrying out attacks and provocative acts against citizens.
