Seven citizens, including four children, were killed and others were injured in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City, north of the Strip, on Friday evening.

Local sources said that the occupation forces launched raids on the Shuja'iyya neighborhood in Gaza City, which resulted in the death of 7 citizens, including 4 children and a woman, and the wounding of a number of others, some of whom were critically injured.

In this context, the Israeli occupation army threatened the medical staff, patients and workers at Al-Awda Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip with bombing the hospital and those inside it, if it was not evacuated.

Yesterday, large fires broke out around the hospital, as a result of the continuous shelling and the occupation forces setting fire to its surroundings.
