40 Israeli soldiers killed since the start of operations in northern Gaza

The Israeli Army Radio revealed today, Sunday, that 40 Israeli soldiers have been killed since the start of the ongoing military operation in the northern Gaza Strip, last October.

The radio said - via the X platform - "40 soldiers, including officers and soldiers, were killed since the start of the ground military operation in the Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip, last October."

The Israeli army revealed the total death toll as part of its announcement, earlier on Sunday, that one soldier had been killed and another seriously injured during clashes in northern Gaza.

According to army data, the number of its dead since the beginning of the war of extermination in Gaza, on October 7, 2023, has risen to 824 martyrs, including martyrs from Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and inside Israel.

During the same period, 5,541 Israeli soldiers were injured, according to data from the army, which is accused of concealing a higher toll of its losses.

On October 5, the Israeli army invaded the northern Gaza Strip, under the pretext of "preventing Hamas from regaining its strength in the area."

In contrast, the Palestinians say that Israel is working to occupy the area and turn it into a buffer zone and displace them under the pressure of bloody bombing and a tight siege that deprives them of food, water and medicine.
