A member of Palestinian security forces was killed during the ongoing events in Jenin
- The official spokesman for the Palestinian security forces, Brigadier General Anwar Rajab, announced the martyrdom of First Sergeant Mahran Qadous, a member of the Palestinian police, from the village of Iraq Burin, today, Monday, after he was targeted by gunfire by outlaws, while performing his national duty in the Jenin camp.
Brigadier General Rajab said that this heinous crime that targeted a member of the security establishment, who is the second martyr since the launch of the "Protect the Nation" campaign, will only increase the security forces' determination and resolve to confront anyone who tries to threaten the security of the nation or rebel against the rule of law.
He stressed that the hand of justice will reach anyone who dares to tamper with the security of our people, and there will be no leniency with this deviant group that is outside the law.
He stressed that the security services will continue, with all their might, to work to impose order, eliminate chaos and protect the security of our people, no matter the sacrifices.
He called on all citizens to stand united with the security services, and provide full support and cooperation in pursuing these criminals, to ensure security and stability in our beloved country.
It is noteworthy that the martyr, First Assistant/Saher Farouk Jumaa Arhail, a member of the Presidential Guard, was martyred yesterday, Sunday, while performing his national duty, after he and his colleagues were exposed to treacherous gunfire by outlaws in Jenin camp.
