More than 40 Palestinians killed in Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza Strip
The spokesman for the Civil Defense in Gaza confirmed to Al Jazeera today, Sunday, that more than 40 people were killed in a massacre inside the Khalil Awida School, which is sheltering displaced people in Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip.
He said that the bodies of the victims were completely charred, indicating that the attack was part of an Israeli policy aimed at erasing the region and displacing its inhabitants.
With American support, Israel has been committing genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 151,000 Palestinian dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.
