Clashes in the West Bank and Al-Quds Brigades controls two Israeli marches

Clashes erupted between Palestinian resistance fighters and occupation forces in the southern neighborhood of Tulkarm city in the northern West Bank, while the occupation army arrested 16 Palestinians during its raids on areas in the West Bank.

The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement - Tulkarm Battalion, said that its fighters confronted the forces storming the city.

The occupation forces also stormed the town of Silat al-Dahr, south of Jenin, the village of Iraq Burin, and the town of Jama'in, south of Nablus.

In the southern West Bank, the occupation forces stormed the towns of Husan and Nahalin, west of Bethlehem, raided and searched dozens of homes, set up checkpoints, and closed the entrances to the towns in search of the perpetrator of a shooting attack that took place west of Bethlehem.

A Palestinian driving a car opened fire yesterday on an Israeli border guard patrol in the area between the towns of Husan and Al-Khader, west of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank. Channel 13 Israel said that large Israeli army forces arrived at the scene and began extensive combing operations in search of the perpetrator.

In Hebron, the occupation forces raided the homes of Palestinians in the town of Idhna, west of the city, and in the Wadi al-Hariyya and Khallet Hadour areas in the middle of it, after destroying Palestinian vehicles.

For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades published footage of its fighters taking control of two Israeli drones used for offensive purposes, during previous clashes in the eastern neighborhood of the city of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

The Jenin Battalion of the Al-Quds Brigades said that this operation comes within the framework of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" battle.

Arrests

In the same context, the Israeli occupation army arrested 16 Palestinians during its raid on areas in the West Bank.

The Palestinian Prisoners Club said in a statement on Saturday that the occupation forces had arrested at least 16 citizens from the West Bank, including former prisoners, since yesterday evening until this morning.

The arrests were distributed across the governorates of Hebron (south), Qalqilya, Nablus, Tulkarm (north), and Jerusalem, according to the statement.

The arrests were accompanied by attacks and threats against the detainees and their families, in addition to vandalism and destruction of citizens’ homes, according to the Prisoners Club.

According to the club, "the number of arrests since the beginning of the ongoing war of extermination and comprehensive aggression against the Palestinian people has reached more than 11,900 citizens from the West Bank, including Jerusalem (...) without Gaza, whose numbers are estimated in the thousands."

In parallel with the war of extermination in the Gaza Strip, the occupation army expanded its operations, and the settlers escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, resulting in a total of 797 deaths and about 6,600 injuries, according to official Palestinian data.

With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 149,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.
