The Palestinian Prisoners Club and the Palestinian Prisoners Authority said that since the beginning of the war on Gaza more than a year ago, the Israeli occupation forces have arrested no less than 770 children from the West Bank.

The Prisoners Club and the Prisoners Authority added - in a joint statement - that there is no clear data regarding the number of children who were arrested from the Gaza Strip in light of the ongoing crime of enforced disappearance against them.

They added that children were subjected to field execution during arrest campaigns, and were also subjected to severe beatings, threats of various levels, and forms of physical and psychological torture.

The two Palestinian bodies confirmed that they had documented cases in which the occupation used children as hostages to pressure a family member to surrender himself.
