Israeli forces launch arrest campaign in the West Bank and Jerusalem

The Israeli occupation forces launched an arrest campaign in various areas of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem at dawn and this Sunday morning.


In occupied Jerusalem, the two young men, Muhammad Bashir and Sufyan Abdo, were arrested from Jabal al-Mukaber, and two children whose identities are not yet known from the town of al-Tur to the east.


In Tulkarm, the occupation forces arrested Qatada Ammar Badawi (33 years old), a former detainee, after raiding his home in the city, and Ayman Nasrallah from his home in the Ezbet al-Tayah suburb east of Tulkarm.


Meanwhile, the young man, Alaa Ibrahim Jabara (20 years old), was arrested after raiding and searching his family’s home in the city of Bethlehem.


The occupation soldiers also fired tear gas bombs at the students of Al-Khader Elementary School, as they were entering the school, which led to a number of them suffocating.


In Ramallah, the occupation forces arrested: Wajdi Bakr Hamadneh from the village of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah, and seized his vehicle, Ahmed Saleh Ankoush from Deir Abu Mish’al, west of Ramallah, and Ahmed Abdel Nasser Marar, from the village of Budrus, west of Ramallah, after raiding and searching their families’ homes.


In Qalqilya, the elderly man Suleiman Al-Hanini and the young man Ahmed Hussein were arrested after raiding and searching their homes in the city’s Shuraim neighborhood.


The occupation forces assaulted a young man while he was in the aforementioned neighborhood, without knowing his identity.


In Hebron, the occupation forces raided the areas of Khallet al-Ain, al-Bayada, and the old post office street in Beit Ummar, stormed several homes, searched them, and ransacked their contents using police dogs. They destroyed furniture, property, and belongings inside them, and arrested university student Izzat Tariq Izzat Awad (19 years old) and child Ahmed Musa Zaqeq (17 years old), a high school student, and they were transferred to the Etzion camp north of Beit Ummar.


In Salfit, the occupation forces arrested the young man, Akram Issa Bouzia, after raiding and searching his house in Kafr Haris.
